Clinical treatment of Ceforanide(Radacef^(®)) in the field of Plastic Surgery department

Abstract
|
|
|
Ceforanide(Radacef®) is a new, in.jectable broad spectrum semisynthetic cephalosporin, which has extended spectrum of antibacterial activity and Stability against penicillinase, lactamase.
Ceforanide(Radacef®) has a unique pharmacokinetic profile that it produces high and prolonged serum levels in human.
The clincal trials was carried out with ceforanide(Radacef®) in 15 patients with the surgical prophylaxis, in 15 patients with the bacterial infection of soft tissue, The results were as follows
1) Fifteen (100%) of 15 patients with the surgical prophylaxis was treated with ceforanide (Radacef®).
2) Thirteen (80%) of 15 patients with the bacterial infection of soft tissu was treated with ceforanide(Radacef®).
On the ´basis of these results, we observed that ceforanide(Radacef®) was very, effective antibiotics.
